Dr. Frank Creech has served large urban and small rural low-wealth school districts in NC for over 20 years as a teacher, principal and district leader. Frank completed his MSA and Ed.D in school leadership at UNC Chapel Hill. Frank worked for the NC Department of Public Instruction as a transformation coach responsible for professional learning, coaching principals of low-performing schools and assisting districts in implementing continuous improvement processes. Currently as Assistant Superintendent of Greene County Schools, his responsibilities include school improvement, academics and innovation. He provides leadership for digital teaching and learning and STEM initiatives. Frank has experience writing grants and developing partnerships with OST providers, funders, community colleges and universities to support STEM learning and career readiness. Frank has served in advisory roles for the NC Center of Afterschool Programs and NC Virtual. He is a member of the NC STEM Ecosystem Steering Committee and served on the SLECoP Ecosystem Advisory Council.
