Join the STEM Learning Ecosystems Community of Practice
TIES is accepting applications from communities interested in joining the STEM Learning Ecosystems Community of Practice.
Step 1: Complete the Online Application
The application will ask for information about your STEM community, including:
- Lead organization and key partners
- Geographic area served
- STEM initiatives and programs
- Alignment with the Five Pillars of Thriving STEM Ecosystems
- Goals and expectations for joining SLECoP
Step 2: Submit Supporting Documentation
To complete your application, you'll need to submit supporting documentation demonstrating your STEM organization or network's commitment to STEM education and cross-sector collaboration. This may include:
- Letters of support from key partners and stakeholders
- Examples of successful STEM programs or initiatives
- Strategic plans or other relevant documents
- Send your supporting documentation to info@StemEcosystems.org and include the 'SLE Application' and the name of your organization in the subject line of the email.
Step 3: Participate in an Introductory Meeting
Once your application and supporting documents have been reviewed, the SLECoP team will schedule a meeting to learn more about your STEM community, discuss your application in more detail, and answer any remaining questions you may have about SLECoP.
Joining the SLECoP
A committee led by TIES will review your application and materials and if your STEM community is deemed “ready” to join, you will receive a welcome packet with information about onboarding, including:
- Orientation sessions
- Introductions to the SLECoP community
- Access to member resources and platforms
- Upcoming events and engagement opportunities
