BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA – XSTEM has been selected to join the Global STEM Ecosystems Initiative, a worldwide movement that brings together leaders from education, business, government, and community organizations to develop high-quality STEM learning opportunities. Through strategic partnerships, XSTEM will create powerful STEM learning experiences that happen everywhere – in classrooms, afterschool programs, museums, businesses, and community spaces.

“The STEM Ecosystems connects XSTEM with one of the most relevant networks of STEM education organizations and specialists. Being part of a global community of practice in STEM education is essential for XSTEM to stay connected and add value to evidence-based educational practices, while adding our Latin American perspective. At XSTEM, we understand that STEM education is a way to prepare for life, and gives Students the opportunity to create, design, and implement innovative tools to make sense of and contribute to the world. And this process forces educators to equip themselves and continue learning. It integrates active approaches beyond STEM areas and skill development, generates impact and inclusion, and has a positive effect on the formation of 21st century citizenship. To achieve this goal, we need to work in ecosystems, joining forces, knowledge, and diverse perspectives. Our real challenge at XSTEM is to strengthen the STEM ecosystem and deepen our impact in South America,” said Constanza Azzolina, CEO and co-founder of XSTEM.
