Annie is passionate about people and finding ways to open doors and pathways to help them achieve their creative best. The best thing in life is watching someone achieve the dreams they imagined for themselves, and then to dream even bigger dreams!
Annie started TD Williamson’s CSR programs in 2006, with the idea of inclusive global employee participation. Hearing the voice of others and seeing the way that challenges look different (and the same!) the world over has provided a unique and inspiring way to impact global philanthropy and volunteering—and most of all to bring people together for creative problem-solving.
Centered in Tulsa, Oklahoma, with TD Williamson’s headquarters, her first major projects for the organization started with work in the Community Schools initiative, an effort to bring community to the forefront of supporting public education, neighborhoods, and families. This work in community on behalf of TDW then expanded to include a STEM-focused agenda with an emphasis on inclusion and broad scope outreach. She was one of the founding members of what is known today as Tulsa Regional STEM Alliance, as a part of the national initiative to increase STEM education locally. Annie has served on many nonprofit boards, including a stint as President on both Tulsa Girls Art School Board and The Center for Individuals with Physical Challenges. She currently serves on the Boards of Foundation for Tulsa Schools, The Pencil Box, in an advisory capacity for Tulsa Regional STEM Alliance, and on the Community Investment Cabinet for Tulsa Area United Way. She is also a serving member of the Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship’s Community Investment Advisory.
