These attributes of quality STEM education were developed by the North Carolina STEM Learning Network and partners have three pillars: 1) Integrated Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) curriculum, aligned with state, national, international and industry standards. 2) On-going community and industry engagement. 3) Connections with post-secondary education. These attributes have been adopted by the NC State Board of Education and will serve as the standard measure of quality STEM programs in the state.
