Acting Director of Carnegie Academy for Science Education (CASE) of national research institution, Carnegie Science, since 2016. DC STEM Network Director; Director of DC STEM Fairs (Secondary and Elementary). Instituted STEM Ambassadors program promoting K-12 DC STEM public school teachers and disseminating best practices in STEM throughout area. Previously, Manager of Educational Programs and Outreach for CASE and Network. Instituted NGSS implementation system in DC as series of training sessions. Developed, designed and implemented new outreach program, CASE STEM Kits. Prior Director of the Discovery Center for Cell and Molecular Biology at Catholic University. Trained undergraduate, graduate, and secondary school students and teachers in research techniques. Received Master of Science degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from Catholic University and obtained a Bachelor of science degree in biochemistry and a Bachelor of Science degree in general biology from University of Maryland.
