Kari McGann, MA

Superintendent of Schools

Flemington-Raritan Regional School District

An educator for more than 25 years, McGann is dedicated to supporting New Jersey’s four STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) ecosystems. As the Superintendent of Flemington-Raritan Regional School District in Hunterdon County, New Jersey, a K-8 school district with six schools serving a population of approximately 3,100 students in four elementary schools, one intermediate school and one middle school, part of her work supports pathways to further science, technology, engineering, and mathematics learning, ensuring that all students have access to high-quality STEM opportunities. She collaborates with many partners in higher-education, industry, local and state legislature, and community members to focus on STEM opportunities. A tireless advocate for excellence in public education, McGann is researching how a superintendent can increase STEM opportunities created for girls and students of color to cultivate a creative workforce to build New Jersey’s STEM STEM-related fields.   [one_half] [/one_half][one_half_last] [/one_half_last]
