Kalman Mannis

Project Manager

Rural Activation and Innovation Network

With the years there have been decades dedicated to entrepreneurial ventures, K12 Education and administration, and advocacy for STEM in rural and remote communities. Currently, the phase is research project management with an NSF grant looking at informal STEM Identity in rural Arizona. In addition to the salary gigs, there are the volunteer boards – Arizona First Things First (early childhood health and education), the Arizona Association of Environmental Educators, the White Mountain Nature Center, and the Bisbee Research Center. In addition, there is involvement in the Arizona Game and Fish Teacher Advisory Team and the Space Foundation Teacher Liaison program. Early on in this adventure, there was a realization that relationships are key to success. So a lot of time and efforts have been focused on serving as a bridge between colleagues to help create change collaborators. [one_half] [/one_half][one_half_last]   [/one_half_last]
