Joel Walker

Joel Walker is a Lancaster, Pennsylvania-based tech sector Renaissance man. His current responsibilities include serving as: – Adjunct Professor within the Computer Software Engineering Technology program at Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology – Founder and CEO of software development firm, Industrial Resolution. – Founder and Director of Pubforge, a technology focused co-working space and training center. – Owner (and self described, “Steward of CPOSC”) of the Central Pennsylvania Open Source Conference, an annual open-source technology conference currently celebrating its tenth year of operation. A curious problem-solver, Joel is known within Lancaster for his ability to summon passionate enthusiasm for seemingly all things (tech or otherwise). He insists, however, that it is the other way around: his passion is summoned by simply being around others who are earnestly seeking “some good old-fashioned authentic progress”.
