Lisa Blank, Director of STEM Programs for Watertown City School District, is an active member of the North Country STEM Learning Ecosystem. She has served as a STEM educator in Minnesota, New Hampshire, and New York. Growing up on a farm in Western Wisconsin set the foundation of a maker/DIY mindset and a lifelong love of learning through hands-on, active exploration. Lisa is passionate about sharing her love of learning through rich STEM learning opportunities that empower students, promoting the development of essential skills and dispositions for success in post-secondary education and careers. She has promoted innovation and STEM education as a classroom educator; district technology coordinator, curriculum developer; presenter; and grant writer, coordinator, and reviewer. Lisa holds a B.S. in Chemistry, minor in Biology, from Winona State University, a M.A.T.
