The STEM PUSH Network is a collaboration of partners from a variety of sectors of education working together for systemic change in postsecondary college admissions to broaden STEM participation, especially for racially and ethnically minoritized students.

SPEAKERS
Dr. Alison Slinskey Legg, is founding Co-Director for the Broadening Equity in STEM Center and Principal Investigator of the NSF INCLUDES ALLIANCE: STEM PUSH Network. She is faculty in the Department of Biological Sciences in the Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences, University of Pittsburgh. She has focused much of her effort on designing and developing K-12 STEM education outreach and research programs that provide equitable access to university STEM.
Vince Stewart is Executive Director of the California STEM Network, a statewide coalition of business, government, community, and education partners committed to expanding Science, Technology, Engineering and Math opportunities for all children in California. In this role, he also oversees the Bay Area STEM Ecosystem. Vince has more than two decades of experience in public policy and was appointed by Governors Brown and Schwarzenegger to senior education policy positions. Prior to joining Children Now, he was Vice Chancellor for External Relations for the California Community Colleges.
Julius Moyo has been Manager of Explainers since February 2019. At the New York Hall of Science’s Alan J. Friedman Center for the Development of Young Scientists, Julius is the point person for the youth staff (Explainers) at the museum. Prior to the STEM PUSH Network, Julius has presented at convenings for numerous cross-sector initiatives aimed at closing the college attainment gap for first generation and other minoritized students in New York.
