During this virtual lab, you will be invited to not just think outside the box, but get rid of the box entirely.
Join Sarah Aronson for a live reading of her picture book biography, Just Like Rube Goldberg (Beach Lane Books, an imprint of Simon and Schuster). Following the reading, Sarah will speak about the importance of the three C’s: community, creativity, and curiosity. Following an interactive question and answer session, she will introduce you to her favorite tool—what she uses to kickstart all her stories: the curiosity journal. She’ll show you how and why curiosity leads to discovery and storytelling.
This activity is for children K-8. You will need a notebook and something to write with.
