From TGR Foundation and Discovery Education, TGR EDU: Explore is a no-cost digital platform for educators and students. TGR EDU: Explore provides students and educators free access to TGR Foundation’s award-winning STEM curricula, college-access programs and career development. The website offers interactive digital resources, designed for students in grades 6-12, which develops problem-solving and decision-making skills with real-world applications in college-access and STEM learning. TGR EDU: Explore offers 40+ assets for educators, students and families including webinars, lesson plans, family discussions starter and a virtual field trip.
Newark STEM Ecosystem: Cultivating Innovation, One Student at a Time
The Newark STEM Ecosystem held its second annual convening on January 16, 2025 on the campus of NJIT, bringing together over 130 members from 87 cross-sector partners including education, industry, government, and community organizations. Leadership from both NJIT and Rutgers University-Newark kicked off the event, which featured presentations on innovative approaches to STEM education, including using LEGO for hands-on learning and data visualization tools for decision-making.
