In 2002, the United States Congress established the Rural Youth Development program to assist 4-H, FFA, and Girl Scouts in expanding and strengthening their work in rural America. The site includes tools, curricula, and resources for planning, implementing, and evaluating community projects with young people ages thirteen to twenty-one. All resources can be applied to any community project or service learning effort.
