Judd Pittman, a leader of the statewide Pennsylvania STEM Learning Ecosystems, who also serves as special consultant to the Pennsylvania Secretary of Education on STEM, was tasked with improving STEM-centered, project-based learning in the commonwealth. He’d convened Pennsylvania education stakeholders and partners to discuss STEM ecosystem growth, and was looking for new ways to provide high-quality core instruction to students in a way that focused on project-based learning.
