Remake Learning, Pennsylvania – Building public awareness with constant,consistent messaging

The leaders of Remake Learning of Pittsburgh are active in posting regularly about the work of the ecosystem and their members.  Publications are always available

The leaders of this vibrant ecosystem said that constant communication, through a variety of channels, has been critical to building engagement with their communities and families they serve. 

Ecosystem Leader, LaTrenda Leonard Sherrill, shares communication tips on a STEM Learning Ecosystems Community of Practice Webinar. 

Additionally, the ecosystem hosts a hands-on learning festival across southwestern Pennsylvania and West Virginia: Remake Learning Days. The ecosystem leverages partners expertise and existing trust within communities to best engage families.

Newark STEM Ecosystem: Cultivating Innovation, One Student at a Time

The Newark STEM Ecosystem held its second annual convening on January 16, 2025 on the campus of NJIT, bringing together over 130 members from 87 cross-sector partners including education, industry, government, and community organizations. Leadership from both NJIT and Rutgers University-Newark kicked off the event, which featured presentations on innovative approaches to STEM education, including using LEGO for hands-on learning and data visualization tools for decision-making.
