NYSCI Neighbors is a community-based STEM Learning Ecosystem dedicated to transforming STEM learning opportunities and outcomes for young people. This model initiative will be co-designed with educational and community leaders from our local community, and will involve a multifaceted program of work that engages children and their families in creative STEM learning, develops STEM resources for teachers and students in schools, builds out-of-school STEM opportunities that respond to community needs, and supports meaningful STEM learning opportunities for high school and college students. NYSCI Neighbors brings together a diverse set of partners who are invested in a shared vision for STEM learning.
