About

COSTEMA’s (Central Oklahoma Regional STEM Alliance) mission is to inspire students from elementary through high school in the Greater Oklahoma City region through purposeful project-based experiences to pursue education and careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. We accomplish our mission by partnering with education organizations, public schools, industry representatives, higher education organizations, career and technical schools, and community based organizations to develop purposeful educational experiences for K-12 students lacking access to STEM education. Our goal includes constructing STEM education programs anchored in innovative, replicable instructional models by incorporating best practices for implementing, assessing, and improving existing programs in order to foster an exceptional workforce which will grow and sustain the economy of Oklahoma.
