About
The Baton Rouge STEM Learning Network is a dynamic ecosystem dedicated to increasing the number of students graduating from high school possessing requisite STEM skills and knowledge to be college ready and competitive for a 21st century workplace. Facilitated by the Foundation for East Baton Rouge School System, the STEM Learning Network seeks to integrate local STEM education programs into a more focused, collaborative approach in ways that increase interest-driven and project-based STEM experiences, career pathways and programs for students, particularly for young people young people historically under-represented in STEM. In addition to establishing a local common vision for STEM education, the Network also offers small-scale funding awards to catalyze and celebrate new innovative learning projects, professional development for educators and a structure for partners stay informed of progress, engage in collaboration and share best practices for driving a “college and career” ready agenda forward.
